How To Fix Open With Drive on Windows XP
Ever counter some weird thing that causes your drive to open with? This is everytime you try to open or double click your drive, an open with dialogue appears and ask you which program you would like to use to open it. This problem usually occurs after a major virus has destroyed windows drive association and had to be remove using your antivirus. I can’t name what virus that had made my drive to act weird. Anyways, I dug the net for remedies and luckily a program called Fix Drive has solve my problem. I’m gonna share to you this and please I encourage you to take credit to the programmer and visit their website ofcourse after it work for you.
How to fix the problem:
1. A good rule of thumb is to scan your computer with your updated antivirus. I’ve been using Free AVG antivirus and updated it to the latest definition. You can always use whatever antivirus you have as long as it is reliable.
2. After you have scanned and removed threats and viruses, download Fix Drive progam.
3. Next is to run the program and choose which drive that has gone crazy and then click Fix to repair it.
