Some Tips On How To Make Your Own Video
If you have atleast 2.0 megapixel camera or cellphone with camera you can make your own videos and upload them to video sites like Youtube, Megaupload, DailyMotion and more.
Here are some few tips on making your own video using Adobe Premier Pro CS3:
1. Select a program that you could use to edit and add effects to your videos. Many video editors are using Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 but you need quite a bit a huge RAM like atleast 3GB and 200GB Hard Drive, the bigger the better. However they maybe bugs along the way, so always save your work.
2. If you have plenty of recorded videos, try to create them into sequences. This will somehow prevent crashing during editing. It is always organized if you have your videos in sequence, you can simply import them in your project.
3. For me, all my sequences are exported to AVI format and imported them back to my project. Using this technique I was able to prevent any program crash during editing especially when you change speed and duration in each clips.
4. In transition, I think its better to use Dissolve to White whenever you change scene. Use Crossover Dissolve in every cut in a scene. Its like your doing it like a pro. Well you can always experiment on your own transition. If you encounter insufficient media when you try to add a transition, try to isolate the clips and then add the transition. You may noticed a pause on your video if you ignore this warning.
5. If you experienced low memory issues, try to remake your project into sequences. Adding a new RAM is good but may not solve the issue. I added a new 2GB RAM but still experiencing it. I tried also increasing the Virtual Memory but no luck. So what I did is I created sequences and exported each into AVI format. Don’t have any crash, not responding and any issues so far.
6. After I’m done exporting my finish project to AVI format, its time to convert and upload to my favorite video sites. By the way I’m using Total Video Converter when converting my AVI to mpeg4. Its really a nice piece of software.
YouTube recommends the following settings to optimize your video:
Video:
1. Resolution – Recommended: 1280 x 720 (16×9 HD) and 640 x 480 (4:3 SD)
2. Frame rate – must be maintained without resampling.
3. Codec – YouTube preferred H.264, MPEG-2 or MPEG-4
Audio:
1. Codec – mp3
2. Sampling rate – 44.1kHz
3. Channel – 2 (Stereo)
